In concerning news, former WWE and WCW tag team champion Brian Knobs, of The Nasty Boys, has been readmitted to the hospital due to a recurring foot infection. The tag team specialist revealed this in an emotional Instagram video, calling it “another curveball.” Additionally, in the caption, he would post the link to his GoFundMe, which has so far raised $35,937 from 626 kind donors.
61-year-old Brian Knobs debuted in 1985 and formed The Nasty Boys with Jerry Sags the following year. From there, they wrestled in the AWA, All Japan, WCW, and WWE, with their career highlight coming in 1990 when they won the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania VII. Subsequently, they returned and won three WCW World Tag Team Championships, and Knobs also claimed three WCW Hardcore Titles in singles competition. Known for their wild, hardcore brawling style, they later appeared in TNA and worked on the independent circuit until quietly disbanding in 2019.
